Arlyne Volten Griffin, 81, of Dallas, died Thursday, August 18, 2011, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s. Born June 28, 1930, in Milwaukee, WI, she relocated to Dallas with American Airlines and later retired from Federal Express. Arlyne was an avid lover of animals and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Gina Griffin, and son Randy Griffin and wife Rachele Griffin and granddaughter Laney Griffin. She is also survived by two sisters, Terri Sila Faas and Mary Volten Tracy, and brother William Volten. Grave side services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Merrell Cemetery, 4018 Merrell Road, Dallas,TX.
