Dorothy Strait Niebling born May 29, 1923 to Dorothy L. Strait and Walter Grey Strait, members of a pioneer Dallas County family that homesteaded in what is now north Dallas in 1849. She is survived by twin sons, Michael Brooks and John Logan Niebling and his wife Brenda; nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack W. Niebling and her eight sisters and brothers. Dee’s family and friends were her roots and she made a loving home wherever Jack’s career took them.
