Thomas Kirk Stennett, age 81, cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather of Frisco, Texas passed away in the early morning hours of April 14, 2024.
Tom was born on Nov 7,1942 in Oklahoma to Thomas Earl Stennett and Eula Van Kirk Stennett and had two siblings, Janie Dayle Stewart and Michael Van Stennett.
He was a loving husband, a father to two wonderful girls, a grandfather to five and great grandfather to three.
Thomas was a part of the Army National Guard from 1960 to 1967. He had a long and outstanding career with Eastman Kodak Company as a field engineer and retired after 35 years of service. In his free time, Tom loved restoring antique and classic cars, had a passion for all things science, was a UFO enthusiast, and was always working with his hands.
Later in life, he stepped in as a father role to two of his grandsons, Drake and Dirk, when their father passed away at a young age. He was the wisest man and a generous, loving, kind, inspiration to all those who knew and loved him. He affectionately went by names Tom, Dad, DD, and Grandpa. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who adore him.
We know that we cannot have you, but we are happy knowing that Jesus, our Lord, has you in his loving arms. This is not goodbye but see you later. We love and miss you beyond measure!
Tom is predeceased by his father, Thomas, his mother, Eula, his brother, Mike, and many brother and sister in laws. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cassie, daughters, Laura and Sondra, grandsons, Blake, Cole, Drake and Dirk, granddaughter, Taylor, as well as three great granddaughters, his sister, Janie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
